You will leave Shimla for Sarahan after breakfast. Shimla and Sarahan are around 160 kilometers away, and it usually takes 6-7 hours to drive there. The unique architectural and religious significance of Sarahan’s Bhimakali Temple is widely recognized. You’ll stay the night at Sarahan, taking in the peace and quiet of this quaint town.
You will go from Sarahan to Sangla today. It takes roughly 4-5 hours to travel the roughly 90 kilometers between the two destinations. The Baspa River, apple orchards, and the natural splendor of the Sangla Valley are its main draws. Once you’re there, you can stroll along the river and explore the beautiful surroundings. Stay at Sangla for the night.
Visit Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-China border, for a day trip from Sangla. By road, Sangla and Chitkul are roughly 20 kilometers apart, and the trip takes about an hour. Savor breathtaking views of traditional Kinnauri architecture, lush meadows, and snow-capped peaks. In the evening, head back to Sangla and stay overnight.
You will go from Sangla to Kalpa today. The trip takes two to three hours, covering a distance of around fifty kilometers. Kalpa is well known for its stunning vistas of the Shivling rock formation and the Kinner Kailash range. You will depart Kalpa today and travel to Narkanda. It takes roughly 6-7 hours to drive the 170 kilometers between the two destinations. Narkanda is renowned for its apple orchards, ski slopes (when open), and scenic views. You can engage in adventure activities or tour the town once you get there. Take a nighttime nap at Narkanda.
You will depart Narkanda for Chandigarh early in the morning. The trip typically takes seven to eight hours, and the approximate distance is 180 kilometers. Your incredible journey through the breathtaking scenery of Himachal Pradesh will come to an end when you are dropped off in Chandigarh.
